1. Selection Guide for Stepper Drive and Stepper Motor

 

With the development of the Laser industry, Laser Machine have applied in more and more industry such as  garment, adorning, embroidery, packaging, leather product, electronic product, advertising, wood cutting model etc. In the other hand, more and more materials can be used in the laser industry such as cloth, leather, wool, acrylics, wooden product, plastic, rubber, crystal, ceramic tile, jade.
 

Considering different load in X/Y axis and requirement in different application, we provide four mature proposals used Leadshine products to satisfy the laser cutting and engraving as following.

Equipment Introduction

 

1) Advertisement laser cutting machine

Regarding the advertisement laser cutting machine, e.g. acrylic laser cutting, it works in a relatively small-scale and mid-range speed. But it has a high requirement in the laser source route. Based at the above summary, we recommend belt with linear lead rail mechanical structure to meet the need of the laser source route requirement.  As the stepper system, we select Proposal 1.

2) Wooden laser engraving machine

Laser engraving machine are most used in processing industries of medium-scale engraving and cutting, such as clothing &leather, packing & plate making, handicraft, advertisement & decoration, construction & fittings. Take the wooden cutting machine for example, this type of laser machine works in a medium-scale and high speed. But it has a lower requirement with the laser source route compared with acrylic laser cutting. Based at the above summary, we recommend belt with roller lead rail mechanical structure. As the stepper system, we select Proposal 2.

3) Leather laser cutting machine  

Considering large-scale and large-load, e.g. processing area: (1600-1800)×(800-1000)mm, we propose another 3-phase micro stepper driver which has higher power voltage input and higher output current.
